What To Expect:
General or Regional anesthesia
A procedure that lasts 1-2 hours.
Hospital stay of 24-72 hours.
Preprocedure:
A preoperative visit to include laboratory tests and a pre-anesthesia visit.
Admission the morning of surgery.
Postprocedure:
Expect a hospital stay of 24-72 hours.
The recovery period will last between 2-6 weeks.
